Wegener Welding LLC is seeking a service technician to join our small service team. The service team is responsible for in-house repairs of electrical plastic welding equipment as well as on-site installations and phone support for our customers throughout North America. The position is most suited for an electrician with additional knowledge such as
- Mechanical skills
- Working knowledge of industrial PLC's, pneumatics, electronics or hydraulics a definite plus
- Background in equipment repair/service
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to occasionally travel for machine installations in North America and training at German and British Manufacturers
