Customized Thermoplastic Welding Training

Wegener Welding LLC offers plastic welding training in both hot gas hand and hot gas extrusion welding in accordance with guidelines established by the DVS (German Welding Society). Our instructors are DVS certified welders. Wegener plastic welding training courses are tailored to fit the customer’s requirements and can be held at the customer’s facility or at Wegener Welding located in Burr Ridge, IL.(Chicago suburbs).

DVS (German Welding Society) Plastic Welder Certification Courses

This one-week course is held once yearly at Wegener Welding LLC’s facility. The trainer is a Certified Welding Instructor(CWI) from SKZ (Southern German Technical Institute). Attendees may opt to certify as plastic welders according to DVS and will receive an official welder card and certificate upon completion.
